At Last!
We re-opened the church on Sunday 6th March 2011 after 2 and a half years of resotration work following the big flood of October 2008. We packed the church out on Saturday after a procession from the Feniton village - we estimated about 350 people in church - it was rammed!
We held a formal re-dedication service in the morning where I played our brand new Roland C380 classical organ and a contemporary worship celebration in the evening with a band including keyboards, drums, guitar, bass, sax and vocals. It was a fab time!
Here's the new organ...

Some friends and I will be taking the keyboards and organ over to Otter Nurseries on Wednesday March 31, 2010 to play a selection of popular music for the restaurant diners.
6.45pm to 7.45pm.
See you there.
More details on the Otter Nurseries website.
As part of the Duke of Edingburgh award have taken on 2 more pupils who have requested keyboard lessons as
part of their' learning a new skill'.
Good luck to both of them.
Well done to all who took part.
Well done to Finin and Arran for good results on both these exams!
Well done to all who took part.

My students are taking their London College of Music keyboard exams in Taunton today.
Good luck everyone!
Super busy in church this month - I will be with my husband and the rest of the band for the West Hill 'The Real Meaning of Christmas' event tommorrow, choirs and Carol service on 21st at payhembury, the Chrsitingle at Feniton school on Christmas Eve and of course Christmas Day at Payhembury church.
Looking forward to it!
Amanda.
As part of the Devon Performing Arts festival, I performed two sets of Christmas songs at the Otter Nurseries Christmas festival night.
Christmas standards accompanied folks as they enjoyed the Chrsitmas Fayre - a great way to start the season!
The variety show was a great success again this year!
People from all around East Devon packed out the Feniton village hall to see all kinds of musical and comedy acts.
I performed my now famous Glen Miller medley and a new arrangement of 'Colonel Bogey' on the EL90.
I also accompanied Shan on Bb Clarinet in 'Prelude From a Victorian Kitchen Garden' and finished with a bluesy rendition of 'Summertime' with my husband on piano and fab vocals from Heather.
A great time was had by all!
Amanda.
Watch this space for details of the upcoming variety show in Feniton on Saturday 15th November 2008.
I shall be appearing with the EL90 and various keyboards.
More info to follow....

I am delighted to announce the fantastic results obtained by some of my pupils who entered this year's Devon Performing Arts Festival in March.
Congratulations go to Alex for 84 points and a commendation, Callum for 87 points and a distinction and top marks to Finan who scored 89 points - the highest possible distinction and only 1 point below an honours!
Very well done to all three children!
Amanda
